What is Mega Mega Mega?

An idea born out of necessity.

An idea born out of love.

Way back in April of 2020, an eternity ago, I started an adventure. I had an art exhibit planned and it was cancelled. I had a job and it was put on hold...many many things were cancelled and closed down and rescheduled and just kinda left out there dangling in the uncertainty and, frankly, people were dying. Things were pretty grim, right?

What do we do? We look for the light. We look for the glimmer of hope and I found it where I have always found it...ART. Art heals the soul and puts the spark back into our hearts. Art has power, an incredibly enormous power and it has had that power since cave dwellers first drew mammoths onto the walls of their homes made of stone. It has had that power during peaceful times and during times of war, feast or famine, art has been there and it will always be here so long as our hearts beat and our souls yearn for beauty.

So, I began to reach out to artists I admired to see if they would be interested in sharing a virtual space. It would be a space accessible to anyone at any time from anywhere. A collection of beautiful works from a variety of artists in an online art gallery.

That was my pitch and many artists said yes. Then, many lovers of art said yes as well. We started to find homes for the art. The art left the studios and travelled across the country to hang in someone's kitchen, dining room, or bedroom. A beautiful thing was happening.

That was the idea and I am incredibly happy to say it is working. We are now a collection of 10+ artists and we are still adding more. I am amazed by each and every one of these souls and the work they create. They each have their perspectives and viewpoints from where their works originate and I am grateful that I get to be some sort of gathering space for their art. I hope you will take a moment and "walk through" the gallery and take pause.

There's such a churning mess of negative energy that has invaded even our most sacred spaces. At times it feels inescapable. I hope you will find a moment of calm within our virtual walls and yes, I hope you will tell your friends about it and help us spread the word.

Art heals us, why not share that.
